Meet Gary
Welcome to the Nomad Workshop
My name is Gary Bowen. I have a background in residential remodeling and when I decided to pursue the nomad lifestyle, I decided to take my tools and experience on the road with me. After selling my house I converted a 20' trailer into an off-grid mobile workshop. I plan on building out a box truck or skoolie for myself, while being available to help others with their build needs along the way.

In my former life, I ran an organization called Shelter Solutions of AZ which specialized in designing and fabricating creative living solutions for people experiencing homelessness – from towable bicycle camp trailers to micro tiny homes. I have not been in the nomad community for long, but I do have years of experience helping others improve their living situations and might be able to help you with yours.
